    Do you heat the springs.......Curious.

    Nobody sells a spring that works out of the box, they have to be fitted. I file, bend and Dremel them to fit, then heat red, dip in water and then reheat in molten lead. This brings back the correct spring temper. Saa needs a new hand spring and the 1878 needs a new sear spring. I was able to reshape and temper the old hand spring in the 1878, but the sear spring was missing. Sounds like a lot of fuss, but you can pick up these guns cheap sometimes because so few people work on them.

    Yes. Metal frame decocker. I have one along with a Phantom. Both have been heavily blessed with CGW parts and the magic of the Wizard. Pretty spectacular triggers.

    Very cool, exactly what I'm looking for. If/when I get enough pennys in a row, the Wiz will be the first person I call. Thanks
