I have a set of Eagle Grips on my FrankenRuger. They are quality grips.

I just ordered a set. They could become yet another expensive habit. The Sambar Stag panel grips would look great on the Model 10 I just bought but I don’t know if I could put a set of $485 grips on a $345 revolver.

But a set of imitation ivory for $109 might be nice enough

The heavy steel framed compact has a rail and with the 40P slide, it makes for a heavier combination. Perfect for some light target practice I’m hoping.
It will be a while before I can do it but, if you don't mind, could you PM what it will be to get Bill back? I really don't remember, it's been too long. I appreciate it.

If they are in stock, you should have them in a few days. If they aren’t in stock, the e-mail from them stated 2-4 weeks for them to make them.

I need the biggest screen I can get. 15.3" on this one. I am spoiled.

I have been casually looking at laptops lately and what I dislike is the wide screen aspect ratio. It's fine for watching shows made for widescreen but I dislike losing the height when surfing the net, working with documents, editing photos, etc.

Even with my PC I have replaced the 16:9 24" monitors with 16:10 24" monitors. I lose 3/8" width and gain 1" in height.

All the laptops I have looked are 16:9 aspect ratio.

Get dual monitors, but instead of having them next to each other stack them vertically :)
This doesn't help with your laptop, but I wasn't actually serious either so...

What??? Sounds like a downgrade. I've been running 3 monitors for 2 decades. I day traded for several years and got used to all the space.

Or run one widescreen and turn the additional monitor sideways for those times you are doing document review, reading forums, etc where the additional height is needed.

I am almost always running dual monitors, but I don't turn the second monitor, but know several folks that do as they do heavy document reviewing/usage on that monitor that is turned.
