One of the Lite Mark IV models might appeal. Less off-putting to the wife and kids while still being quite useful for target fun. Mods available if you need to improve it and I believe some models have threaded barrels, though I'm not sure. I'm a big fan of the Mark IV and Victory handguns, especially with a red dot mounted.

Did manage to get some goodies from GB since I've been sitting around with covid, a Merwin and a Colt Thunderer. There was a wonderful commercial Colt 1860 with Ben Kitteredges company name and logo that I stayed in for a while, only one I've ever seen.

Tx22, ruger charger, or a Wrangler. TDs S&W Victory looks like fun.
    I went with the Victory.

So you’re going to buy a .22 handgun…. What do you buy?

Thinking about making a change in that department. Goals, fun, practice, learning…
MK II, III, or IV target. One of my favorite all time guns. Got my first one for Christmas when I was 10. Still have it. I have a few models of each if you want to try one. We have a couple of friends on the highway that can make this happen.

I had a 22/45 Lite when the blue one first came out. I remember liking it. But don’t remember why it didn’t stick around.
