    Not to upset the CZ vibe here but my Sig RXP slide came in today and I did a quick trip to MCFG to put 50 rounds through it and get it dialed in. I think that I’m going to like this option for the P229

    Please say hello to Reba. She's a Howa 1500 mini action in .223REM with a 1:8 twist 20" threaded barrel in an HTI aluminum pillared stock with a Nikko Sterling 4-12x40 scope. I picked her up this afternoon in Churubusco at Tomlinson's Shooting Supplies. Tomorrow we go on our first outing together. She got her name because Reba was playing on Sirius channel 58 (Prime Country) when I pulled into the parking lot at the gun shop.

    The role for this rifle is an alternative to shooting .223 AR's and to eventually learn reloading with. I now have a bolt gun in .308, .223 and .22LR. Interesting roads that a man travels down sometimes.
