Learn the light trigger and you will want it lighter yet. My 9oz trigger is feeling a bit heavy. :D

Quit squeezing the bag with the 457. Get it settled in the bags and use the front rest to align the reticle. Then grip and shoulder the rifle lightly while not moving the POA. Squeeze the trigger slowly and don't disturb the POA. It breaks when it breaks.

IMHO squeezing the bag for fine aiming easily leads to several inconsistencies such as subconsciously correcting aim with cheek pressure, trigger hand/thumb, etc changing the travel of the rifle during recoil.

To align the reticle with your Rock BR rest, start by leveling the bubble left to right with the 2 front leveling screws/feet. Make the course vertical adjustment with the pull up section of the rest to minimize height of the wheel/screw shaft and lock it off. Make a medium adjustment with the vertical wheel and lock it off. Use the rear leveling screw/foot to make the fine vertical adjustments and the windage adjustments with the cradle screw.
Next trip out, I am using this method.

I'm sure over there somebody would have an opinion about it!
Definitely. My opinion of that place drops the more time I spend there. There are some good folks, but they are heavily outnumbered by snobs and elitists. God forbid you try and do anything on a budget.

Yeah, an army buddy in AZ is taking a 2-3 day PRS class I think from somebody affiliated with Snipers Hide. I told him if he's going to go down the PRS route it's a whole different world. He has a nice 700 with a KRG stock and good scope, they sent him a list of stuff to have, specific height rings about 200.00 each, a specific bipod because everything else is junk at about 500.00 etc.
