Morning folks!

Growing up in Pittsburgh was different for driving. It took a a while to get anywhere. It took 20 minutes to go from my grandmother’s house to my aunts house even though you could see my aunt’s house from my grandmother’s house 300 yards away at the bottom of the hill. There was rarely a straight route to go anywhere

The talk of mil-surp has me thinking.... Has anyone here gone through the CMP to get a Garand or have they been private sales? It appears overwhelming at first but it looks "easy" enough.

My son got his from the CMP. The process was not very hard IIRC.

My uncle still has my late cousins PPU Sniper Mosin. He offered it to me after he passed, but I wasn’t in a position to offer anything for it. I’d still like to get it one day.

My Grandpa was born and raised in Dravosburg and they ran (literally, ran) the roads and bridges for fun when he was a kid.

I've had very good luck with UPS over the years. For some reason I'm not getting as many details as you're showing when I look at the "details" tab, but here's UPS performance on the Standard Manufacturing item I took advantage of for the $500 STD-15 that someone was kind enough to share on this thread. Thank you to ____________ for posting that.

I think it's a regional thing with all these shippers. My region gets good service from UPS - they may be horrible somewhere else.
