I find it odd/funny that we always tell people to "grow-up", encourage our kids to be mature and then spend decades longing for the carefree nature of those less disciplined years.

We could all tell a true story(ies) now but after MM's unsolicited release of information, accuracy will always be suspect.

First Place gets the prize! (but if you have pictures...we can always consider a run off) :rockwoot:

It is funny that the very behavior that we warn our kids against is the stuff we have the best memories of when old.

Most of the pics are not suitable for Ingo but as for now MM is my hero with the Trio thing

Yeah, that is not recommended. :)

I do my best to forget what I pay for something and not keep track of what is spent after the checkbook is reconciled. Figure what is spent is spent and if/when I sell something the market pays what it is worth regardless of cost.

It's tough being a hero, but I accept the position !

Bigger guns have bigger accessories, with bigger price tags. Beer and a bad memory make it easier though. :D

I can't tell you what I paid for any gun I own or any I have owned. Somehow it is not a piece of information my brain wants to retain.

On the other hand....you have $1500 in a firearm tuned to your specifications with a Leupold red dot. That's really not crazy money.

    Since we adding up dollars...

Anyone want to guess what CZ pistol I could buy instead of replacing a hood latch, hood latch cable and a plastic radiator expansion tank in a BMW?

Closest to actual number wins nothing...heck, maybe rep points. LOL!

On the other hand, $1500 is pretty cheap compared to the AllenM customs.....
I have 5 of Allen’s custom builds and he has ran all the rest of my 1911’s through the machine shop so yeah.....$1500 is a serious enough number but not where it would or could be. Sounds like you have a really nice piece for the money

Hmmm, what era BMW? A plastic radiator catch bottle can run between $45 and $200 depending on what it goes on and where you get it. I'm guessing E46 to E91 range, as now is about the time to be replacing the plastic rad components on those, so I'd offer up the guess of an SP01 Tactical.
