Lately, I've been working to shed the various bits of junk I've accumulated in life and really like letting stuff go. Yesterday, I back slid a bit. I happened across an old microfiche reader that was being discarded at work and claimed it as my own. Last night, I ordered a complete factory parts manual with exploded views of everything that goes into a '68 or '69 Fiat Spider. I just happen to have both a '68 and '69 Fiat Spiders, so I'm pretty jazzed right now. I started my career as an aircraft mechanic back in the days when Boeing delivered everything in either microfiche or microfilm and have always had a soft spot for the outdated technology well after I left the aviation industry.

Memories....I had a 1978 Fiat Spider back in the day. Sweet little convertible....moved into 'merican Muscle. Should've kept it. My uncle bought it new. He also had a '76 Mercedes two seater (whatever the #s). He order it new, picked it up in Germany, drove it around Europe and then had it shipped home. He always talked about that trip.

There's still a bunch of stuff available on eBay but some of it is pricey. Worse, some of it comes out of shops where it was used for decades and is scratched, paint spattered and may be missing sections. We'll see what I end up with when the Fiat stuff gets here.

I've been toying with putting a RDS equipped P10C together. I'm still trying to figure out if I want one enough to drop that much money on it, but am thinking that it might be a fun project. Hopefully, CZ releases a P10C OR soon. That would save some money in milling costs.

    Agreed, that would rock.
