I agree. The quality of folks that gravitate here is, well, stellar.
Not sure why but I am looking forward to the day.
You have your bat, right?

Do you guys prefer to have the mag base be flush with the grip or to add the little rubber base plate? As you know the Mec-Gar 14 round compact mags come with a giant metal lip on the bottom. Just trying to decide if I want to grind that off or if I want to put the rubber cover on it.
I'm okay with either, but I think the general feeling around here is that the rubber base plate is preferred.
Morning all.
Morning all.
Morning maan. How's it going today?
It's Friday so I have that going for me, which is nice.
Almost forgot, I ran out to MCFG with my son this morning and put a quick 50 rounds through the SP01 Compact. I had my P01 alongside for comparison. The chunky little SP01C is amazingly flat shooting. There is no muzzle flip and you can keep rounds on target as fast as you can manage the trigger. The P01 had only a hint more muzzle flip though and was also easy to keep on target, so we'll see how the two compare once I get the SP01C Cajunized to match the P01. I really love that format pistol.
Friday's are always a good thing if you have weekends off. Anyone else doing the 1500 tomorrow?
Have you thought about maybe putting the CCO on consignment down at USDS? I'm thinking of taking my Remington Rand down this weekend.
