    Morning all.... :coffee:

You're okay in my book Tom, even if you do like a Legion more than a Bersa :stickpoke:

    :):

My new Custom CZ 97-BE from the Cajun Gun Works. Lets start with the slide being milled for a match grade 1911 hand fit bushing. Next is an LPA adjustable rear sight using a Novak sight cut. Factory fiber optic front sight. The slide has the firing pin block lifter and spring removed to reduce the take up on the trigger. The slide is finished with an extended firing pin and reduced power FP spring. Next is a Tactical Sport hammer that is .090 wider than a stock hammer and requires the slide to be milled to accept the new hammer.
The sear cage gets a new adjustable sear and has the lifter arm replaced with a spacer which completes the removal of the firing pin block assembly. I chose the straight SAO trigger that has over travel & reach adjustment set screws. It is matched up with the floating trigger pin and reduced power trigger return spring. All the internals have been professionally polished & tuned. The barrel has a target crown and the throat and ramp are as slick as black ice! A stainless steel guide rod supports the recoil spring. This set up is using a 13 lbs. mainspring. Now I will describe the feel of this huge chunk of 45 acp. The slide to frame fit is zero and with the tactical sport hammer when the safety is engaged there is zero movement of the hammer if you pull on the trigger, on all CZ's with stock or CGW race hammers you will notice movement if you pull on the trigger. The take up and reset on this SAO trigger is about .060. The SA pull length is about .060, crisp and of course breaks clean at 2.0 lbs. using a Lyman digital gauge. The slide moves with ease and it is truly a fine 97 out of CGW and I would thank David and his son Scott and the crew for an excellent job. None would have been possible with out my friend Rick (BA) and I thank him for this and can't wait to get this beast to the range!!!

    Morning folks! :coffee:

There are some seriously nice guns floating in the classy's right now. This is a tough time of the year for me. Cash poor and unwilling to put anything on a credit card that just got paid off in November. I sacrificed the 10mm Witness to get the SP01C, which leaves me with only 1 10mm pistol now. That void would be filled nicely by an RZ10

I am somewhat new to 10mm but I now have 2. I am always looking for ammo deals.

I do wish 10mm would go mainstream already so the ammo would become cheap. If you can buy a box of 9mm for $9.99, shouldn't you be able to get 10mm for $10.10. Seems logical to me.

Exactly. It's only a measly 1mm bigger. But with advancements in modern bullet technology, nothing larger than a 9mm is needed anyway. It's become the new man stopper.

Good morning everybody! :coffee: I think at some point today I'm going to attempt to put my P-01'back together. Took it completely apart to clean and do some polishing. By completely apart I mean completely, sear cage and everything :n00b:

My 40P is in the same condition but the sear cage disassembly was not intentional on my part. Once I get the new sear lifter arm, I'll reassemble the sear cage. Good luck with the P01 cage. I had mine apart once before and managed to get it back together again.

Good luck to you. I'm sure I'll get it together just fine, there are just a lot of little pieces to fit in that sucker!

Fortunately, I've still got the P01 assembled for reference. Right now though, I'm thinking that the 40P slide on top of the steel SP01C frame might be interesting. The SP01C is just over 10 ounces heavier than the P01. When I hold the two of them together, I'd guess that it's maybe 4 to 6 ounces heavier, but it's actually over 10. It is a chunky little gun.
