    Morning everyone! :coffee:

I put the new set of grips on the CZ Compact last night and installed the new hammer/sear kit. What an amazing little gun those compacts can be with a bit of tuning. I went with the green grips and like the results. I just need to get her out to the range for a function test and she'll be done.

I'm waiting to see what it looks like before I make a decision. My goal is a 'sleeper'. I don't want to change the look of it, but want it to run like Rusty from CMs 2x4. Er wait. Um...

Agreed, that looks really nice, those green grips look sharp on the black finish. Also agree with CM, you have a neat bit of wear/patina going on, I really like the look you have here.

Thanks. That gun has a nice, well worn mechanical feel to it that I don't know of in any of my other guns. It's not a worn out feel by any means, just a smooth, well used feel. It's like a good flannel shirt in the prime of it's life.

Love that look Tim! Are those the dirty olive color? Very nice. I thought that would look nice against stainless as well. While I love the looks of those grips, I didn't care for the feel of them on mine. I ended up putting the stock rubber ones back on as they felt much better in my hand. That makes me sad because I really liked the way they looked :(

I love a gun with some personality. ;)

Nah. No pink. I did buy the one pair of pink RAMI grips, but I hate them. I got some stag grips for it instead. But I need to shave 1mm or so off the end of the grip screws because the stag grips are a wee bit thinner than the factory grips.

Did somebody say bluegill? Bluegill are the first fish I ever caught.

Want to change my mag release on a 75, but I have some fear and loathing when it comes to the staked screw that holds the mag release spring and etc. Hate to transform a good working gun into a screwed up gun.

Any reason to worry? Have a new screw on hand, Cgw says do not use loctite, Cz custom says use a little blue
loctite, some stuff on u-tube makes it look like folks just tighten the screw good and snug like you would any other screw.
