I'll just put this here. I can't afford it and I'm no fan of the"D" parts but perhaps somebody needs it.

Not sure how the current pricing is on the 97 right now but I have seen them new for that money.

Too bad they're in Washington.

Not sure how the current pricing is on the 97 right now but I have seen them new for that money.

97B (manual safety, standard sights - front is fiber optic) around $650 - $700
There is one in my LGS for $659.

97BD (decocker, factory night sights) $750-$800

Stopped fishing when all of our gear was stoles years ago.
