So we should give up on every old thing that's seen better days? :stickpoke:

This from a guy that restores old things.........:)

    Of course not.

In my observing the course of this I see TD's mind way over analyzes every move he makes in this regard. No knock as this will keep crazy spending in check where as I or you would go willy nilly nutso getting this old girl back up and running.
Some folks have to justify what where and when the spend time money and effort. It keeps all the ducks in line for them.
Some get on a course and stay there to the end regardless. Then the sell the gun and move to the next nutso project.
If I worried about every thing I did that made me loose out on something my life would be far different than it is so I am easily categorized in all of this.

The problem with this is, he will spend way more finding one he likes verses just fixing one.... That's the way his mind works. :):

I think my biggest issue is that the older I've gotten the more I've taken life too serious. Too much work and not enough play time.

Life should be taken seriously especially when raising a family. That is "Dads" job of course.
I took things very seriously but still had my attitude towards my projects. It made things a bit harder as I saw to it we always had more than enough.
