Poor gun.... I hope they don't destroy it and someone with a heart has it repaired and it lives to shoot another day.I will slap it on the a$$ and send it on its way. That sound ceremonial enough?

So we should give up on every old thing that's seen better days? From the looks/condition it has been shot....and shot.....and shot.....and shot.....and shot....and shot some more.
So we should give up on every old thing that's seen better days?
Isn't it almost time for your morning nap, old man?Yeah like your jokes.

The wife and I are going to get some range work in later after church. Birthday tomorrow..can't believe I'll be 58....
You rang? This from a guy that restores old things.........
Of course not.
In my observing the course of this I see TD's mind way over analyzes every move he makes in this regard. No knock as this will keep crazy spending in check where as I or you would go willy nilly nutso getting this old girl back up and running.
Some folks have to justify what where and when the spend time money and effort. It keeps all the ducks in line for them.
Some get on a course and stay there to the end regardless. Then the sell the gun and move to the next nutso project.
If I worried about every thing I did that made me loose out on something my life would be far different than it is so I am easily categorized in all of this.
You rang?
I still think you would be happier getting your money back from Bud's and investing in a pre-B.
Beautiful gun.
My over analyzing wears me out. Constantly.
Deep breath.
Assume the "Lotus" position.
Relax.
The problem with this is, he will spend way more finding one he likes verses just fixing one.... That's the way his mind works. This from a guy that restores old things.........

I think my biggest issue is that the older I've gotten the more I've taken life too serious. Too much work and not enough play time.
