Book of Faces has went nuts with the cry to Ban.

People feel more laws will fix this. It is akin to putting duct tape on a hole in a boat.

I had to "unfollow" some people on there because I couldn't take the insanity anymore. People are so affected by the liberal media and social media anymore it is just sad.

Morning everyone. Sorry for my absence but you know...life. I'm pretty hot today about all the talk going on about Orlando and gun control but I know I'm with like minded people on here so that helps. Hope everyone has a good Monday, if that's possible! LOL!

Any time some feeble minded moron goes out and shoots someone, there will be calls for more gun control. I'm always amazed that when other types of killings are done, no similar cry goes up. Multiple fatalities for car crashes? No call to ban cars. Multiple slayings with knives, hammers or other objects, etc. Funny how there is this double standard. Why don't we just ban people with mental health isssues? :n00b:

One very big reason I stay off the Book of Faces as much as humanly possible! When I say that by and large people are idiots, well, FB is where most of those people hang out...

    Oh yeah, 6k! :rockwoot:

No kidding WTB. The double standard is what is just crazy to me, just drives me up the wall. I'm doing my best to keep my mouth shut at work today, just don't want to say anything that will get me in trouble. I know it shouldn't be that way, but unfortunately it is.

I'm very happy I work from home today and tomorrow. Hopefully most of the BS will die down at work over this before I'm in the office.

I'm on Facebook because it's a great way to keep up with my friends. A couple of my lib friends were going on and on about AR-15's and how "real people" can't afford them because they cost $15,000. I had to tell them that I bought my AR-15 and several high-capacity magazines for $600. Then a little while later, I deleted my comment since I'm looking for a job in the public schools. LOL

Sadly, that's a smart move in today's world.
