440 is coming together. We are still doing some mock up work and figuring out the bracketry... Still have some detail paint work to do. Struggling tremendously because the asshat who built the car before really hacked schtuff up badly...

 Other than a few minor things on the outside and a big ol Willy's carb up top, you'd think it was pretty stock. Nobody has to know its a fully roller. ;)

PS: it'll have 383 badges on the hood. :pimp:

As it should my boy.......as it should.

I had a few 383's that would haul butt back in the day.
The right heads and valve train they would pull pretty hard.

Original numbers matching 383 is long gone thanks to said prior asshat.... This one should be a runner (ha! Get it!?) and I look forward to driving it. Owner has stated that he would like us to parade it around to local shows this summer, so he has time to gather the rest of the funds. :):

Thanks! I can't take credit for anything on the engine expect the paint and some clean up prep on the parts.... I don't have the patience for engine building, although I could spend all day working on a dent and not bat an eye. I'm also not afraid of hard work, I can lay there right beside it all day. :)

I admire you aircraft guys, my work stays on the ground so I don't worry too much about it. ;)
