Welcome to the needle in the eye club. Don't worry you get used to it and it's not as bad as it sounds.

I've had one shot already and you're right, sounds worse than it is. The after effects are worse. Felt like sand in my eye and I had to drive home with one blurry eye that would not stop watering. Should be better next time.

Finally ordered some Pierce finger grips for my CCO. Looking forward to getting them on my gun. Hey Tim, do you recall if you had to trim those when you put them on your CCO, or did they just fit?

I did have to trim them and they were not as easy as most other guns I installed them on. The CCO grips are longer than normal grips were, so I had to remove a bit of material from the grip edge to get them to sit flat. Not hard, but tedious. A sharp Xacto knife is the key to getting this right. Once done, you'll love the feel.

I feel ya. I have found if I can sit in a dark room with just music for about 3 hours with my eyes shut and let the swelling go down it helps a lot. But I can not always have the luxury of a completely dark room during the day for 3 hours. The more time you can set with your eye closed the better in the long run.

Good to know and I appreciate the advise. The dr's office recommended taking a nap if possible.

Me just setting for 3 hours and not being asleep is next to impossible.

Naps are reward for working hard or thinking too hard. Or if you're over 30. I take a nap any chance I can.

I picked up two Streamlight TLR-4's last evening. One is on the P09 and the other on the P01. Will take them to the range tonight to get them zeroed in. Feeling pretty good about the HD situation. ;)
