    Let me know how it works for you. I've been indecisive and have been dragging my feet on hitting the checkout button(s) on my parts list. I have a 10" barrel for my 300bo build, what are you using?

    This one is a 11.5" 223 Wylde barrel so a different ballgame from 300bo.

    I have 7", 8.5" and 16" 300bo barrels or something like that.

    Received this in the mail a couple days ago and finally got around to opening it.

    The sleeves seem fine for my use. If I was a PRS shooter using it on a regular basis, it probably wouldn't last long but for casual range trips? More than adequate.

    I would say the same about the tactical hot pad. Seems adequate. Some silicon grippiness would have been nice but for that price? More than adequate.

    I turned my induction cooktop on high, placed my hand in the tactical hot pad and pressed it onto the burner for an hour and felt absolutely no heat. AMAZING!!!!!
    I contemplated just getting an actual silicon faced oven glove, and may still do that at some point. Might look a little interesting hanging out of the range bag though. Maybe if I got a nice apron to go with it?

    I forget...do we like Omega triggers or not? I don't shoot my guns anyway, so I guess it really doesn't matter.

    I have a pair of carbon fiber mittens that you can do the same with, I took a acetylene torch and you could hold it on your hand for 10-15 seconds easy and not feel the heat. Technology is amazing sometimes.

    What's different about omega trigger/gun than say a 75b?

    That it is....but I must warn you that you should always read all my post in purple and assume that I am being a smarta$$.

    My cooktop is induction which requires a magnetic material to create heat...so you could place your bare hand on it and not feel heat.

    Omega > stock. I guess - if you are not going to tune the stock trigger but;

    I run the Seekins Precision SP3RV3 handguard on my Seekins SP3R and SP10, specifically for the monolithic upper. I love them. They work great, especially when benchrest or baracade shooting. It looks like the LuthAR is a little different but the same principle at more than half the price of the Seekins. I might be interested in it for my 300bo build if they offer a 10".

    Edit: Just called them and they don't offer a 10". To bad as I would've bought one.

    Our apt has an induction stove, put a small pan on the large burner and then see if it will burn you? :lmfao:
