    Morn'n fellas

Woke to a stray mother dog, 2 pups, and a empty pizza box in my drive..:xmad: People suck!
They were picked up and were taken to our newly built no kill shelter. 2 were injured and will get their needs addressed and get spayed/neutered. Might adopt 1 after everything they need is taken care of.

Bad thing is they had collar rings wore on their necks and were very nice/obedient so they were pets just dropped. Again, people suck!

I think that the eye doc is sending me to the same specialist group as WS. Midwest ? (@WebSnyper )
Evidently I have a detached retina and a vein occlusion in my left eye. The doc said that she hadn't seen that in 23 years .... which didn't give me a warm-fuzzy.
It's right at the center ..... where the occular nerve connects.

When I asked her if she thought it was 'fixable', she said "maybe". Again, no warm-fuzzy for me !
Ah well, it's the perils of older age, I suppose.

Well...how many fossils has she seen in the last 23 years?

    Hoping it works out well.

If I have to wear an eye patch, I'm going to learn to talk like a pirate ! :D

It was a shock. I just thought that I needed a new glasses prescription.
I didn't realize that my left eye is just gone .... when they covered my right eye, I couldn't even read the largest single letter she held-up. It was just a mushy grey blob.

I'm sorry to hear this. I hope they can get you fixed up. The big concern seems to be about detached retinas, so hope they can handle that for you.

I just got back from my Dr visit with the retina specialist (https://avruc.com/)

AVRUC is where I went, and I actually did have a tear in the retina that could be seen today and they lasered it up while I was in the office today. I'm going to be doing some traveling starting in a day or so and may do a follow up where I'm going just to make sure it looks ok and then again when I'm back.

The laser should have fixed my retina tear, but the blood (makes for blurry vision like looking through a dirty fish tank and has been like that since Friday) and floaters may take a couple of weeks to clear about 80% or so he said. The remaining floaters after that will take time and may never go fully away. Hopefully the big one that seems to hang around in the middle will go away.

I'm glad that they were able to do something for you immediately.

Check this out. Really good deal on a CZ P10C with a Holosun SCS. $584 that means the pistol is around $234 because the sight is $350 where I've seen it listed so far.
