    Good morning INGO.

I've got inflammation of my lungs, and it causes spasms in my lungs which makes breathing difficult. That is my understanding.
Dr gave me some inhalers I'll be down for several weeks with it.
It's amazing how a problem with your lungs can end your business as usual.
Will add you to my prayers for a speedy recovery.

    Howdy, guys.
Hope that you heal quickly, DS

Hey WS ..... (if you feel like it) give us a report on that spine.
Doing OK. Stopped post surgical pain meds the day after the surgery. Have been doing some walking each day. 2 laps around the big block in my neighborhood this morning. Left side is a limiter as I expected it to be (since this procedure was focused on the right) but not too bad. Still on some nerve pain meds that I was taking before the surgery but looking to wean those out a bit.

Not supposed to bendover much to allow the incision to heal, and weight restrictions to 10 lbs or less. Wife has been watching me like a hawk on this.

Getting a field trip or 2 in here and there.

Post OP visit scheduled for 20-Aug.

    Got my 229 ordered

Overall, it sounds like a great recovery !
Mine was done all at once, and they pieced my spinal cord. That led to a longer recovery.
I'm glad that you're weaning-off of meds, as your able. Smart !

Yeah, since my MRIs were not overly conclusive (there were indications of stenosis, narrowing, etc) but not a smoking gun of this particular protrusion, etc is the culprit, I was given the option of being less invasive or going all in and doing a lot (fusions, etc) when it may not be necessary and it requiring months of recovery.

Chose less invasive option. Dr seemed confident after that what he did should provide some good relief. Would have liked to have tried to handle both sides at once, but we focused on the right since it seemed to have been the most pain in recent times.

If we have to do similar at some point for the left, I'll be a little less apprehensive but I also know every surgery is different. When I goto my post OP visit I intend to push for a plan to address the left, even if it's shot for now in the left and then look to have a procedure. I'm not going to suffer with it and fear surgery as much and as long.
