I'm right there with you. I know if it comfortable to shoot and if it's accurate and that's where it stops.

I held a S&W 1911 today. It was very nice but beyond what I wanted to spend. So light weight and felt so good in the hand.

Scandium frame? Very light.

I've keep two, a PC Commander and a first run JRD billboard.

I remember mcapo’s first GTG. We kept shoving CZ after CZ in his hands. I think he was a bit overwhelmed. He ended up later with one of the first ones I stuck in his hands. In fact it was one I got from CM when I met him for the first time. Hoosier45 was there also as I recall. Snowing like crazy.

First time I meet BA and the crew was at Applied Ballistics. Pretty sure H45 and KJQ were there along with BA, Losey, and CM. It was non stop here try this one and then lunch after. I was hooked.

That's what happened to me, the Wizard showed me a case full of CZ's to shoot, I actually picked a very worn looking 75 or 85 but the trigger was phenomenal.

I had that exact gun. I think the SW1911s are really underrated - especially the E-series.

The scandium frame is light so you will deal with a tad more recoil but nothing insane. There are MIM parts but SW does a really good job with MIM as is evidenced in their modern revolver line. SW has been using MIM parts for almost 30 years and they know how to do it right. The external extractor is also reliable.

Checked GB and the price for this gun is within what they are asking. Now I just need to see what they will give me for my P320 Xcarry with 6 magazines.
