Heading out soon for KY to visit my parents. Just a boys trip this weekend. Wife has some prior obligations and is staying back with daughter. I don’t blame her, I tried to have some “prior obligations” too!

What about switching careers on top of some gunsmithing once you reach the point you're comfortable doing work for others? Maybe that would be enough to get you to a better place while still being able to support your family and hobbies?

That is the path I'll most likely need to go.

I'm going to try and reduce some stress by working out today. Haven't used my exercise equipment all year and my weight is the highest it's ever been. Working from home, lack of sunlight, poor diet and no exercise are not ingredients to a healthy lifestyle.

I'm currently in discussion with the city about zoning regulations for what I want to do. Will know more next week. If I can't get approved, I would need to move for it to happen.

Understood, as I know you need the FFL to take custody of the guns that come in for smithing work that will take more than one day . And you could probably make enough off of mcapo's gun broker incoming transfers to help out the gunsmith tooling cause...

Saw no deer at all this morning, strange.

Gunfire just past dawn this morning had me looking out the window in case any wounded deer ran through my yard. It has happened twice in past years at dusk and I helped track the blood trails.

My land is in the city and borders the county and undeveloped wooded city lands.

Family harvest continues. Her dad took the deer this morning but we never pass on an opportunity to show off grandkids!
