I gave up on dealing with the leaves in the back yard. I back up to a woods, and I have 3 very large maple trees in my yard. I'll mulch the leaves in the front yard, there is only one tree there.

Speaking of clothing, I highly recommend Duluth Trading's firehose cargo pants. Relaxed fit. Just bought four pair to wear at work, driving. These are gonna beat the hell out of the work issued Wranglers for comfort. Very pleased.

I live in a hole in the woods. Tried it all over the first decade. Got smart and just mow in one direction or use the backpack blower to move it all into the woods. The last cleanup is usually in December.

That's basically what I do. I blow the leaves away from the house and buildings so that I can get the mower to them. I wind row them the same direction towards the woods.
