Merry Christmas Eve of the Eve, CZers. Congratulations Dad Smith, on the grand baby!!! I went to Badlands yesterday for the first time with a fellow Jeeper. Ok place, definitely geared towards UTVs and ATVs, at least it wasn’t too muddy. Quarry reminded me of a mini Moab….and I do mean mini.

I'll definitely be sugar-shocked with my grandma's Old Fashioned Cream Pie.
(she was born in 1885, and my wife honors her tradition)
But thankfully, there will be no sound overload.

Ate about 1/2 dozen Hershey kisses, just to appease my inner animal.

The 1/2 dozen Hershey kisses sounds like something I would do. I have this terrible chocolate habit - spoonful of peanut butter and handful of chocolate chips right before bed - dumbest thing ever but it’s a craving.

My cold has turned into a sinus infection, along with the requisite pounding headache. Yay. Guess I'm lucky I have no celebrations planned. Thinking about heading back to bed.

It gets loud quickly, like a girls slumber party, when all the women are talking.

Sorted through my reloading dies today, packing up the doubles to sell along with the box of odds and ends. Squirrels chewing on the gardener's new deck so the lazy bobcat has Christmas dinner waiting. Grey squirrels are deranged, acorns everywhere and they try to eat Trex.
