My Hoover's bag is full...and 9mm ain't right in a 1911...and, from my limited experience, doddg isn't likely to take a lower offer. Prove me wrong. :D

It hurt too force myself to get the WC double stack in 9mm. I'm still embarrassed to be seen at the range with it but will suffer on.

Now if you want a DW Specialist 45ACP in the black finish, I may the the guy to talk too.
I've got a project moving forward in what you'd consider the not right caliber for a 1911. It will have a couple of other small departures. It's by no means anything near a full custom, but it won't be stock. Should turn out well. Money has been exchanged, work to be done (it's in pieces currently). Pics and more info once it comes together.

Friday: wake up crazy early for a 0630 flight to Vegas. Spend the day walking/drinking/losing money.
    Saturday: more vegas
Sunday: more vegas...then fly home. Get home around 0100.
Monday: lounge around the house, quick trip to the splash pad, then deal with a tantrum for 2 hours at bed time
Tuesday: work in the blazing heat out at the farm. Cut down overgrowth out of the food plot, took down feeder, set up ground blind.

Ugh. I'm ready to go back to work!

I've been hovering-up photos, as fast as Tarzan is inhaling guns ! :evilangel:

The new macro lens renders everything nicely. It's now been cabin tested !

Autumn is in the air, gangsters. The signs are out there.

Got out yesterday and shot my US Shooting Team takedown Ruger 10/22, I think the very first takedown model they made, I put a little 4X scope on it and it shot well. Took out my SPFD SA-35 as well and that gun is working very well, i'm going to use it as a base for a custom project. Tore down the SPFD Ronin 10mm and am still pretty impressed with it, this one has a fairly well blended rear of slide/frame and the extractor is barely proud of the slide, usually SPFD's stick out quite a bit. There is no clocking at all of the extractor so a new firing pin stop isn't necessary. This will likely become a nice base gun as well.

Finally got around to ordering the roller to complete the Cajunizing of my p07 and got it put together tonight. Fairly well known I’m not a Cajun fan in the standard 75 series but so far don’t hate the change in the p07 system from dry firing. Hopefully get to range to confirm tomorrow.
