On a firearm related subject: here's my dilemma , CZicko's.
I'd really like to buy this 5/8" thick AR500 target, and use it for Brutus at a future Gala Event !

At 42 pounds, it's more than I should lift into my truck (pathetic, I know).
So ... would one of you close-by gangsters be able to help me transport it ?

Also ... I thought it would be good to buy the gong hangar that is listed at the bottom of the link. It appears that these are used to hang them on a 4' (?) long stout pipe.
Would something like this be available to share/use at a gala event ?

It would be fun to have a target to aim at, that should be able to handle the 50BMG impact at 100 yards. The steel target is spec'ed at 10,000 ft/lbs of energy. Brutus should be pushing about 11,600 fpe at the muzzle .... so I think that it'll work ?!?

You just name the time and place, and I'll be there to help with the heavy lifting. I'm only 15 minutes away from you MM

Had a great time at the range with the Wizard today! Got to shoot his ‘budget’ Canik, I’m impressed!

Also got to shoot his Mouse built AR pistol! What a beast! The loudest loudener I have shot, enough to shake things off the table and you could feel that sucker all the way through your chest!

And Remy made a new friend today.

Are you in IA still, my wife was coming back from IN on Sunday on 80 near Newton and got caught in crazy severe storm, giant hail ravaged the Cherokee, needs a new hood, roof etc!

Brutus will be limited to the 100 yd range at FGE this year until I get some more berms built.. Found a bullet about 1/4 mile away and about 110° to the left of where we were trying to zero it last year. Stuck about 1/2 way into an oak. That's on me. Nobody else so don't anybody take it personal. Matt said he saw evidence of one bouncing and I shoulda listened to him.
