Guten tag, alles! Lunch break after morning project. Need to cut and add the lid, but made a frame for a storage box-ice cream bench for the truck. Used all scrap pieces from the shop. $0 in and it passes turkey inspection.

Picked up some great 2A shirts and a CZ cap.

My kids have a trend of getting me something Star Wars every birthday, Christmas, Fathers Day. Every holiday a new one gets put out on top of the gun cabinet. Perfect spot to hang my cap!

Thanks, amigo. We have to schedule our epic music event ! It seems as if one of us, or the other is always gone (Iowa, cabin) .... and it's been hard to pin-down a good time.

Good late morning fellas. Yesterday was a bachelor party day, and night. From gun range to cookout to casino to gentleman's club. I remember why I don't do the partying thing anymore. A couple advil and 2 gatorades later I'm feeling more alive-ish but the head is still thumpn. Definitely see a afternoon nap in my future.

I'll share something that caused me to chortle this morning.
For some reason, I was thinking about Churchmouse, and my 1st Gala Event.

Mouse greeted me 1st, at my 1st event. He said: "remember ... no robes, no chanting" !
He knew of my affection for eastern philosophies, but having been to my house (probably to 'vet' me) he knew that wasn't really a concern. We both had a good laugh !

I thought about Churchmouse while at NRAAM. CameraMonkey was drooling over the Stealth Arms Platypus, which is a 2011 using G***k magazines. I wondered what he would have thought or if he would be shaking his head at this.

I’ll be heading back down to the NRA convention this afternoon with my adult nephew. Looking forward to spending some time looking around.

Looks beautiful.
Yesterday while parked I had a female cardinal land on my hood and peck at my windshield, like 2 feet from my face. It was very cool making eye contact for those couple of seconds

Nope. Got my fill. Very different feel this year from the last indy show.
