What I find objectionable is to use/abuse the constitutional mechanism of impeachment to extract a pound of political flesh.

Censure him from the floor of the House.

Pass resolutions decrying his policy decisions.

Heckle him during the SOTU.

Nah. I’ve seen numerous people reply with valid arguments, in which case you typically just avoid acknowledging. I see no reason to attempt discussing politics with anyone who makes excuses for the actions of the left by blaming it on trump.

I seem to fail to put my finger on the relevant part of the constitution that prohibits tweeting insults. Gee, a president cannot fire his own employees who are failing to do what they were hired to do? Oh, I see it now, right there with the age requirement in the constitution is says an additional qualification is the president may not lie, in the eyes of political opponents.

After watching how the folks I supported in politics were treated I have hoped for years for a president to to tell the mainstream media to FO. To tell Hollywood to FO. To tell socialists and communists to FO. To tell the UN, European Union, China etc. to FO.

I seems clear to me now that we needed the right personality to do that, sorry you don't like that but that's how its got to be to get us back on track after the open borders, completely free trade, even if it hurts us, anti-constitution, anti American way, have had free rein for so many years.

No. Of course not. The matter should be investigated and the facts determined. If there is sufficient evidence, then an impeachment should proceed. I think we aren't close to that point yet. Knowing how long some of these investigations take, I'd say impeachment really isn't on the table before the 2020 election.

I'm an independent. I tried to support Barry as he was this country's President but he made me put on my Saints brown paper bag.
I don't know how Trump really acts. All I get is over the top media slander and insults because Trump doesn't want to give this country to the antis and douche bags trying to give everything away to those not wanting to work and be in this country legally.

POTUS is being accused of withholding aid to a foreign nation unless that nation resumes an investigation it had previously started. That investigation was halted when the then sitting Vice President of the U.S. threatened to stop aid to said nation unless the investigation was halted and the prosecutor dismissed.
