Also, 4 of the 5 highest average pay (counties) in the US surround DC... which is why DC housing is so expensive, that's where the money is... our money becomes theirs...

LOL, touchè. One of my best friends is in the army, always sends pics of new tattoos or them sitting around at a bar hammered. I guess no new tattoos this weekend.

I went to a class once in Reston, Virgina on System 1032, a database management system now very obsolete. It was supposed to be a high intensity class about two weeks long. There were about a dozen people in the class, two of which were programmers for the National Weather Service in DC, one was a supervisor. They were both completely incompetent and disruptive to the class, dumb as knobs. Whatever they were paid was a gift.
Fortunately there were two people there from the University of Washington in Seattle that were sharp so the three of us would work together after hours and did get a lot out of the time spent.
