Yeah, no one really talks about why Gray was arrested. At the end of the day, a guy is dead who shouldn't be, and the fault is placed right at the feet of the city of Baltimore.
So.....what happens when you charge someone with a crime without the evidence to support the charge?
Oh wait....I almost forgot that just reading this thread answers that question.
Seems to depend on who is being charged, and if one is will to create/omit evidence, doesn't it?
Such as.....
Holcomb did.Keith Cooper? The guy Pence refused to pardon.
Speak for yourself, I'll bet there are a few that solve where their next pair of sneakers, 65" Flat screen, Vodka, etc. are coming from?Trashing your community is not going to solve anything.
Just saw some stupidity on the news. Looks like it's going to be a rough night. One car vandalized. People throwing rocks and bottles at cops. Hopefully no lives will be lost tonight. And hopefully (but doubtful) there won't me as much property destroyed.
As for the ruling on the charges: if there were enough evidence to charge them they would have been charged. As high profile a case as this is I feel it's doubtful that they would have let anyone get away with a crime.
It's over, it's time for both sides to learn from this and move on. Trashing your community is not going to solve anything.
Convince those who are looking for any reason to loot pillage and destroy.
Yeah, I think a lot of the people that participate in these events are doing it for the free for all. Free pass on violence and want ever they can steal and destroy. The peaceful protesting is ok. Busting up stuff, looting and assault is BS. Look at what MLK accomplish. I truly think he would be disgusted with today's activist.
I am hearing that people are carrying weapons (guns), most likely fake. I am guessing some idiots are looking to martyr themselves. It's going to be a long weekend for that community.
I would disagree, it seems peaceful protesting is met with almost as much disdain as violent protest. In today's America it is arguable that violent protest isn't more effective.
Is blocking roadways peaceful?

No, "it's disturbing the peace," but it is non-violent.
It is violent when you physically block public travel. Aren't there laws against such sir?

Arguable? Really. Terrorizing a community is effective in some way? Really! Does it add legitimacy to some causes? If so, really?
I am truly surprised to hear this point of view from a LEO. But to each his own. We'll have to agree to disagree on this one. I find it hard to give legitimacy to thugs.
Now the ones that carry signs and use their voices and power of the ballot box I can take seriously. Thugs are just that, thugs.
