I this particular case, no you can't. One side (D) has:

    • vowed to permanently change this country into a socialist **llhole
    • pack the SCOTUS
    • to remove our 2A rights
    • enact UBI bankrupting our country
    • dismantle (or seriously degrade) the military
    • open our borders
    • make Puerto-Rico and DC states (permanent DEM majority)
    • sell our country out to our biggest enemy (China) and get retribution to all of us who supported President Trump

That's exactly what voting D is helping to enable, and that is NOT love for this country.

If GA falls to the D's, that's pretty much it for us as a country.
I know the outspoken majority feel that way, but I still have a hard time believing EVERY SINGLE democrat supports these ideas.

Exactly. But facts don't matter to someone who has made up his mind.

One of my personal friends believes that things fall pretty much along those lines. Especially the socialist part. He's a vet who hurt his knee working on jets and has used the VA extensively. Ended up on 100% disability after an error during back surgery at a VA hospital. VA basically rebuilt the interior of his house to accomodate a wheelchair. His grown daughter is autistic and receives funds from social security. The other kids went to state colleges for next to nothing.

    But, he hates socialism. LOL

Wait. You’re asserting motives not in evidence. I think the Democrat party isn’t capable of controlling its radicals. And it is the radicals which mainly want those things you listed. And that’s a fairly small but powerful group of people who represent that list. And it’s true enough that the establishment dems are sucking their ****s. But the people who voted Democrat aren’t all in favor of those things and they don’t believe Joe Biden will bring those things about. And it’s worth mentioning that some of those things on your list are hyperbole anyway.

It doesn't take all of them. Just a few are enough.

If the shoe were on the other foot (swap Ds and Rs platforms), I know who I would never vote for again.

I used to split my ticket accross the best candidates regardless of party, but I can no longer support how far D's have gone recently and will not support a single one of them anymore.

Except Biden will not be president (for long). He's already had 3 strokes, now a broken foot, and how long till he contracts COVID-19?

But you shouldn’t paint them all with a broad brush. That’s like saying all gun owners are like George Zimmerman.

    this is how polarization occurs

Fair enough. But for all who voted for AOC, Talib, Omar, Biden, Schumer, Sanders...... it will be on them. A D vote is still a vote against capitalism, the constitutional republic (EC), U.S. supremacy (Chyna), etc.

They have all said so on the record.

Doubling down on your attempt to deflect I see. The original question I posed after your slightly ranting post is did you let your hatred of the man over shadow your love of Country. I see you keep trying to side step the question. Sorry Alpo I'm still not biting but you can answer my question if you wish.

Your premise supposes that disliking Trump means is anti-American. That’s as ridiculous as saying disliking Obama makes on a racist. Sure some believe it, but it doesn’t make it any less ridiculous.

Oh. I have no doubt. Biden will not survive his first term. If he lives through it, his dementia will be impossible to keep covered up for long. They’ll 25th his ass out on the street.

A vote for those people named, not for a Democrat. They aren’t ALL on board with those ideas. You can’t say fair enough and then use a wider brush to paint all of them again

I have always disliked Trump the man, he is an arrogant prick alpha-male narcissist and likes to "exaggerate" too many things and talks (tweets) too much.

BUT, his policies, actions, belief in and defense of this great country and the document it's founded on is unwavering and is why I voted for him.

What leader in the world does not stand for their counry first? That is one of the most important things a county's leader stands for, unlike the previous admin that bowed and sucked up to the rest of the world.

I'm not supporting him, I'm just looking at it with a critical eye and not believing everything they say. And I do that for most things. One of my Granddad's favorite sayings that I have taken to heart "Don't believe anything you hear, and only half of what you think you see".
I heard that through the grapevine.

Well, I'm on the not a republican not a democrat not a political party side. Doesn't mean I can't agree with the parts of all the parties I think are right.

I havn't quite caught up reading the last few pages of this thread, but I'm curious what parts of the democrat platform you might agree with. Not trying to be snarky - is there anything, once you boil down the pretty words of their platform, that would be good for America, or the economy or energy sector, or anything?

AOC supports term limits. I support that idea :+1:

Actually it was a simple question with a multitude of answers, the most basic being a simple yes or no. It was also an opportunity to explain his views in relation to his hatred of the man versus love or hate of County. It seems that most of his arguments center around his hatred of Trump not his love of County as why he voted for Biden.

Instead of providing an answer Alpo choose to try and deflect with the comment, ""And how have you served this country you love? Let's talk about you for awhile." I just didn't take the bait.
