    Tabloid (11"x17") Paper

Using a sharpie or similar, draw an 8" circle, centered 6.5" from the top of the sheet.
With this placement, the sheet of paper covers the A zone and almost the entire C zone (1/2" short on each side). You could even fold/cut the corners for a closer fit.

I was looking at getting targets that are good for IDPA practice, found a 60-pack of official IDPA cardboard targets for $90 ($1.50 per), and a 100-pack of official paper practice targets for $53 ($0.53 per). Official paper targets are decently priced, however I can buy a ream of 500 sheets for $20 ($0.04/target) or 1500 sheets for $30 ($0.02/target)
