So I hear, certainly the Marion County Prosecuting Attorney's Office gives it the thumbs up!

It is nice not to have the blowhards rocking back and forth on their heels outside Superior 9 telling me how dangerous and horrible drunk driving is. At least DePrez and Bisard shut them up.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the Oman case predate the blood draw statute by several years? I don't think you are going to be able to backdoor the draw in that way when there is a specific statute on point.

Oman is still applicable (arguably). But he rolled over and played dead on an OWI/Death, no hearing, just a skip down the hall.

If it was some factory worker from the west side that I represented, he would be on WIBC and Channel 13 telling us all how horrible drunk driving is and what about the poor victim, boo hoo hoo.

Big difference a polyester blue shirt and a potmetal badge makes.

My next OWI I just need to dress the guy up in an IMPD uniform at the initial hearing and watch the prosecutors trip over themselves to file the nolle.

ROTFLMAO!!!! My favorite was a dude who showed up in court for an alcohol charge wearing a shirt that stated "TAP KEG HERE" with an arrow pointing at his junk...

Pffft, my first trucker trial, the driver from Sheepkisser, Georgia showed up with a big, fat Confederate flag on his gravy-stained t-shirt. I had to run home and get a flannel shirt so he could wear that over the Cross of Treason.

alcohol ruins lives period. It destroys your liver, kidneys, stomach lining, and brain cells. It makes life very unmanageable and worse it always results in ruining personal relationships. over half of the medical emergencies in hospitals are related to alcohol abuse. you booze, you loose.
