Wow, Now innovation in a shotgun isn't very common (and usually doesn't work) but they found a way to do it without adding much complexity to the gun.

With this, carrying like 65 shells ,that are actually accessible, seems...do-able.

I guess they are going for a Military/LE release first in 2010 with a Civilian release following.

All i can say is...WANT!!!! :rockwoot:

Clint Smith has a short write-up on it included in his "Ranging Shots" column on defensive shotguns in the February, 2012 issue of "Guns" magazine.

While it's an extremely innovative and Uber-serious looking piece of hardware, I'm afraid that the MSRP puts it wa-a-ay outta my reach!

Another thing to consider is that, opposed to typical bullpup shotguns, the receiver sits on top of the pistol grip rather than in the stock. So the shotgun in the first video appears to have a 8-10" barrel - making it a NFA short barreled shotgun. This is a no no in Indiana.

Also, having multiple tubes is pointless. How easy is it to remember which tube has buckshot or slugs when someone is trying to shoot holes in you?

New Age shotguns? If they're not Vaporware - they're prohibitively expensive. This and the Kel-Tec shotgun are solutions to non-existent problems.

Obviously someone is addressing a perceived problem or these types of firearms wouldn't be developed. Multiple magazine tubes present training issues, but no more so than trying to remember which side the slugs and buckshot loads are on your sidesaddle mount or in your speedloader stock.

Someone is trying to come up with the next whiz bang tactical equivalent of shotgun snake oil. It's new. It's black. It must be bought.

As for the tubes, I don't see how you can "train" around something like that. You can practice, but that's not the same as training. A gun fight is stressful enough. Why try to pin the tail on the multiple magazine tubes?

...and FFS.......a side saddle is a quick visual inspection on the exterior of the gun where shells are readily identified. You would have to disassemble the other gun to get the same verification.

Regardless of the magazine issue and ammo issue I just thought it was flat out cool and really innovative. Not all my firearms are strictly for self defense. It would just be fun to shoot. You can't tell me you wouldn't at least want to give it a test drive if someone offered.:D

    I agree with that.
Sometimes I want what I want just because I want it.
This shotgun IS cool enough to want.
I will have to settle for the KSG because of the price but this one would be nice.
