Picked up my new Springfield Range Officer. Great gun, can hardly wait for the next trip to the range! The trigger seems heavy but I'm used to my light CZ triggers. This RO will be awesome after some fine tuning!!

I pulled the weights on WT's Ruger and Springer today. He is now thinking about getting some love done on them.
The loaded pulled off at 5Lbs 15 oz's. Typical. Ruger actually had the better trigger of the 2 but the SA was fit up better overall. Both are very nice guns.

You RO will level out after a few hundred rounds. You will feel it. Get the weight checked. Then get it right.

Will do, I will probably talk Birds Away into going to the range after we get off work Sunday. I agree it will get better after a couple of range trips.

You must be BA's range buddy. I was going to come up and hit the range with you guys a few weeks back. Darn cold and family stuff came up.
