The American Spectator
It's not the governments and antagonists that are wanting him to be President. It's the common people. The world isn't saying to itself "Which American Candidate would make it easiest for us to ****?!?", it's saying out loud, "We're tired of having a bully leading the world. It's time that the most powerful person in the world be someone we can actually respect, someone Presidential."
Don't take my word for it, go to outside websites. Guardian.co.uk (the most read online paper outside of America) makes fun of Bush as one of its primary advertisements on its site. They even post articles on Obama and McCain, read what the world thinks. There's many many more world-wide articles for reading which are written outside of the states, all easy to find. The one thing nobody is aiming for is a weak America. The outside world wants a very STRONG America, because whether America likes it or not, they are the Police of the World and have been so since D-Day. America the saviour country, who right now is just being a Bully in the middle east, and when France, Germany, Italy, Belgium, China, Russia and all the other countries say before the fight even starts that it's wrong to invade Iraq, and who continued to say it for years afterwards, those voices should have been listened to.
Those countries don't want to rape America, they NEED America. But a Bully as the leader of the world is enough to scare anyone, and McCain is just a continuation of that Bullying, in their eyes. Obama is the only candidate in years to come across as a Leader, as Presidential.
Red text... NOW you're just not making any sense at all! But you have a right 1st ammendment right to NOT make any sense at all.Who I am. Ex-United States Army Pathfinder / Korean Interrogator (97E).
I believe everyone has a right to bear arms. I'm a Desert Storm vet. I'm a registered Indiana voter.
I support Obama 120% YOU made this a political thread. Dont blame that on others. Just read some of the other introduction postings.<<snip>>
I believe in the 2nd Amendment as written, not as translated. The right for "the people", not "every person" to bear arms. <<snip>>
Bigum, because you're voting for the new Leader of the Free World when you vote for the President. Because if a person is at all interested in World Peace or has Global Interests as a primary concern, instead of if they can carry a gun with them into the 7-11, World Opinion matters.
Anyhows, this entire thread is why Obama will win. Because McCain has no strong points, so McCain supporters are left with only negative politics in their fight to keep Obama out of office. And when those undecided ask why they should vote for McCain instead of Obama, here's what they hear:
Because Obama is a Muslim with too strong of ties to his Christian Church. I suppose you could call a preacher who preaches "Black Liberation Theology" with ties to marxism christian... and who screams from the pulpit "God Bless America??? Naw, naw, naw, naw. But God D**N America... God Da*n America!!!"... but I don't
Because Obama is a Socialist errr... Marxist How about a Marxist who to imitate equality on the facade quotes ideas of socialism.
Because Obama is too black and too white. I have never heard ANYBODY say that he is white! I have heard he (barak obama)himself proclaim proudly about his african heritage. While at the same time saying that his white grandmother is "a typical white person". Proud of his black heritage? A Black father who abandoned him when he was two? and scoffs at his white family who paid for him to go to private schools and Harvard????
Because Obama is an Eloquent Speaker who can't Speak without stuttering. An eloquent speaker ...as long as he has a teleprompter, and a well written speach.
Because Obama switches his position, but is also close-minded. I also never heard he was close-minded. He is open to whatever loose rhetoric or empty promises will slither him through the political machine.
Because Obama has bad friends, and no friends for throwing them under the bus. THis also does NOT make any sense at all.
<<snip all this meaningless drivel>>

I support Obama 120% (although I hate his position on FISA, but understand his need to support it currently). I own an M16A2 because it gives me fond memories of my time in the military.
I believe in the 2nd Amendment as written, not as translated. The right for "the people", not "every person" to bear arms. I believe that that right is limited to the right to defend ones home (militia), and if away from home, that right is curtailed. I believe anyone that pulls a gun on a man to threaten him loses that right to bear arms. You pull a gun out, don't hesitate; Shoot the bastard and hope the law agrees with you. Someone pulls a gun on me, there better be not even the slightest bit of hesitation to shoot because I will kill the man if he doesn't.
I am not a nice guy. I will argue with the best of you if I'm right, and I will apologize when I find I was wrong. HOWEVER, I do not get angry. If you think I'm all irrational and pissed at a comment you made, you are wrong. I do not mean to EVER be insulting, I will say how I feel short of using derogatory terminology towards you (If I think you're an *******, I won't actually say precisely how I feel, and I probably already think you're an ******* :P). I will always think carefully, excluding outside influence from media or other posters before leaving a reply to something I disagree with. But I will post on things I disagree with.
I'm not here to talk to a bunch of McCain people to change their opinion (or I'd be on that thread). I'm here to chat at an old friend and secretly stalk her behind her husband's back
You don't know me. Don't call me Dave.
And it has never been my objective to impress you, I have never implied you being racist, and feel free to exit stage left.
Like 4Sarge thinking that a Black man could support the segregation of a Lower Class and Upper Class in an effort to make the Upper Class richer and the Lower Class poorer (Marxism, AKA 1-step away from Slavery), [/QUOTE]
and Dave, I'm here for the long haul so get used to it. Are the facts frustrating you?
Well *******, I've not once commented directly to you because you make it extremely obvious that you are an *******. I've also not once promoted Obama on this thread other than to say I support him, and to answer questions directed directly at me, and never once towards someone who is an *******. I've also only once been derogatory towards McCain, and not yet at all to any of his supporters *******. You want to keep rambling on about McCain in hopes of gaining more acceptance from your Forum peers, feel free, I can't stop you, and wouldn't want to. My recommendation that you do it on a thread whose purpose is for just such a topic was so that when I now report you to the mods it is extremely obvious that, until this post, I've never once antagonized you as you've tried doing to me from the beginning. So, *******, have a nice week, I'll go right back to ignoring what you post anyways since I don't actually talk to *******s.

It is understood that your name is not Dave... but it is less derogatory than *******... or RICHARD which is what I thought of with that last post.Well *******, I've not once commented directly to you because you make it extremely obvious that you are an *******. If you were here to "secretly stalk her behind her husband's back", you wouldn't have posted openly where he'd identify you. Granted, though I've not met them, I'm reasonably sure the first thing Pami would have done on finding out you were here would likely have been to say, "Hey, Dave's on the board!" or something similar. No matter. Your posts are inflammatory in their message, (like quietly and calmly saying in a synagogue, "You know, Hitler wasn't all bad; he DID commission the Volkswagen."), your attitude is unpleasant and inappropriate (You called him "*******", when all he did was call you by your name. Whether he knows you or not, it's still your name. I doubt you know Barack Obama, but you heard his name in a public forum and you don't hesitate to use it.), and had Lars and Pami not vouched for you at the very start, I'd have quickly thought you a troll. I'm beginning to think so regardless of their vouching for you. Please note that I have not as yet called you that, only described what I would have thought then and what I'm beginning to think now.I'm here to chat at an old friend and secretly stalk her behind her husband's back. :P It's Monday, have a good week.
