Not to derail, but whats with the goofy marching styles of dictatorships? Seems like the more crazy the regime is, the nuttier the march is. Why do they think getting all goose-steppy is cool? Do they think its intimidating or something?

At least our marching movement is somewhat natural.

Radiation and particle leakage should make targeting the 'elite units' relatively simple. Being struck by a drone-fired hellfire will 'spray radioactive material' around, too. Just likely not on the 'enemy'

So they're supposedly resorting to dirty bombs now?

    Talk about desperation if true.

As if the WWII weapons they still field weren't embarrassing enough. Or the training videos that showed soldiers whose AKs didn't have bolt carriers and were just pretending to fire.

EDIT: I said dirty bomb, but I'm not sure if it's that or a fission based device. I'd say either way with the Norks. With all the trouble they've had building a regular nuke I have my doubts they've successfully miniaturized to the point of true backpack nukes.

Those things were a bad idea...even when they were ours.

When that MOS was dissolved, a lot of them became Combat Engineers. The former Nuke backpack guys tended to be...erm...how to word this delicately....complete morons.

Please, do go on. What was the selection process for said nuke toters?

I don't know, as the MOS was already dissolved by the time I joined. I suspect that nothing I write will offend them, though, unless someone reads it aloud in their presence.

A prime example was SSG Brown, who brought the unit water in diesel containers and told us to skim the diesel off the top of the water, as the water underneath would still be clean. Complete. Moron.

Hah! The barely have the technology for a functional fission device. Backpack nukes that actually work? I'll believe it when we see the first li'l mushroom cloud when one of the tries to charge across the border into ROK.

Article said something about spraying nuclear material on the SK/American troops.... I guess a backpack full of explosives and radioactive materials and NK soldier parts exploding would work without the fission part... might be kind of slow...

That guy delivered water to our unit! :xmad: We had to brush our teeth with the coffee the mess hall sent out.

And ineffective as a weapon of war.
