So with divided control between the house and senate, how do we see this effect us as gun owners?
Will it create a new buying frenzie and driae prices back up? Or will they balance themselves out and just see the status quo maintained?

Posturing and status quo. Both sides now have a "bogeyman" to blame and use for fear mongering. No major pricing swings unless we have another Newtown or such.

    Same old ****.
They will come after our guns like they've been salivating to do and the rhinos will cave on some things and settle for other things that they want because they are *******.

Gridlock. I don't see a budget getting passed on time again for a couple years at least, it was a unique experience this year. The military will suffer, the wall won't get built...unless Trump shuts the government down. It's hardly like we actually had time to recover from 8 yrs of encroaching socialism, globalism and weakness. Our course correction may have kept us from impacting the ground but we've hardly gained altitude.

Witch Pelosi "Let's hear it for preexisting conditions!" Crowd cheers.

The past two years have shown that the only time Republican politicians are concerned with the rights or interests of the American people is when Democrats are in charge, and they can use fear to motivate their base.

This election will prompt more to Republican lawmakers to act more like Republicans, and less like mandate-wielding statist demagogues. I think that is a good thing.

I'm with Paul F. Any person who thinks the dems are anything but socialists, and the Republicans are anything but pawns of the larger banks and corporations is kidding themselves.

    Follow the money.

    Sadly, true.

How can people still be "worried about healthcare" after the RINOs couldn't get the votes to kill the ACA?

    This.

I don't know of any 2A initiative that was dependent on federal legislation. IMHO, the less Congress does on the matter, the better. (Although gutting NFA would be totally awesome, if we couldn't do that with both Congress and POTUS as Republicans, ain't no way it'll happen now.)

But, getting conservatives into the judiciary, that'll be a good thing for the long run. Perhaps as important as the SCOTUS appointments.

In the House its gonna be like CNN, all Trump all the time. I think they are gonna be so preoccupied with resisting what in their mind by using liberal logic, is so wrong with America that hopefully the 2A is way way back in their mind. I mean they hate this guy.

The real reason the left hates Trump is they see his presidency as pure evil. But when he as the President at the moment is elected by We The People, his plan during campaign season that he put forth is no longer his plan. At that point that mandate belongs to the people who voted for him and he is doing our will. Well the left can’t come after every Trump supporter, but they think they can go after him.

The biggest problem that even a libertarian, anarchist, Democrat, or Republican has with trump, is that he has to taken the table that was balancing on a needle that is our government, and totally turned it over on its side and balance is no longer. He's actually worked in his position, and all crap he has been given, he turns on everybody else and somehow come out on top. This is only going to continue with a majority blue house. I feel sorry for his battle that will come about, but if anybody we have had in office can work with a situation, he can. I find this refreshing personally, we will see his full potential soon enough. He's a business man, and doesnt take crap.
