I have a couple of S&W sigma's one in 9mm and the other .40S$W and I was looking at some ammo that was cast lead rather than jacket slugs. My question is am I able to shoot these out of my sigma's without any problems? Thanks!

Yes you will have lots of problems.

I've had mixed results with cast bullets in 9mm. I've had the best results using 147 grain bullets. Accurate, and no leading. Others... well, they might lead, they might not. Only way to find out is to try 'em.

Yes. Everything fired from a Sigma is a problem. If you would like to upgrade to something more reliable, accurate and applicable to self defense try tae bo and a rape whistle.

Sorry, I really can't help myself sometimes. Speer Gold Dots and for that particular weapon I suggest 165gr.

Your Sigma will fire lead bullets just fine. You are getting flack from the Glock guys because their owners manual recommends against lead bullets in their polygonally rifled barrels.

It's a jealousy thing.
