    I have a 239 and a 226. Never a malfunction on either.
My 226 came in .357, I bought a .40 barrel later since that's what I was reloading at the time. Uses the same spring. Works great. it's a little on the heavy side for ccw. That's where the 239 comes in.

I have now dipped lightly into the world of Sigs with an SP2022 Nitron TB in 9mm. Just picked this up in a trade today (previous owner says it is NUIB, which appears to be the case), and so far I must say I'm really impressed... fits my hand crazy good, I really like the grip texture, and everything about it is there for a purpose. Under the hood, it's one of the beefier polymer pistols I've seen. Trigger is completely on-par with my CZ 75 P-01, with a smoother/lighter DA pull and a slightly lighter SA pull. Haven't had a chance to do much with it except break it down, clean & lube it, and run some snap caps through it... can't wait to get it to the range!!

Yikes... the spare mags are kind of pricey, but they feel just as stout as the gun itself.

Sorry for the crummy cell phone pic, but what good is a "new gun" post without some porn?

Looks like a great gun except for that threaded barrel sticking out in front. I guess if you have a need for a silencer it's there for a reason but otherwise I prefer the look of a standard barrel. I may pick on of those up. Cheaper than dirt has them starting at $459.00 on up depending on what finish and Magazine capacity. I may sell my P6 to be able to afford the P2022
Let us know how you like shooting your new Sig.

After reading and watching all the Great Reviews about the Sig Sauer SP2022 I am going to get one for sure. Sounds like a Bargain and in one review it even outdid the much higher priced Sig Sauer M11-A1

I will say even though mine really isn't for me (it was an impulsive choice), it may be one of the most over-built polymer pistols I've ever seen. The TB does stick out a bit, but when you compare slide length, it really is about the same identical length as a G19/G23. I do like the grip angle, it's got a very natural point-of-aim about it.

I'm only annoyed with the marketing of the M11A1. It's just a 229 with 228 grips and UID sticker.... The original M11 (P228) is a completely different animal.

i've owned the sig p239 and p229. Both are great guns but i'd with the 229. You get 5 extra rounds with a slightly thicker frame.

Just became a Sig convert a month ago. Was a Glock man through and through. Striker fired action was my preference. Same trigger pull every time. Then I got my 229R. Hook line and sinker. I was done. I've taken the 229 to the range every weekend since and it has become my favorite pistol. The higher bore axis is taking some getting used to. But I just shoot it so much better than any other pistol outside of 1911s. Picked up a 239 at the 1500 today in trade. Next up I think will be a 226 for home defense. Use the 229 and 239 for carry. Sigs just feel so good in hand. Ergos are amazing and the full slide rails lock it in with smooth cycling. I realize I am sacrificing weight and size but I really don't care just because of how much confidence I gain in how well I shoot these guns. Love my Sigs.

I too have recently become afflicted with this. Im afaid its terminal. Only gun Ive ever shot that has this kind of ergo is, believe it or not, the Ruger P95DC. But that 229 is one sweet pistol. Going in for Cerakoting next week.

Yea. Nothing like it. I'm now on the hunt for a 224 in 9mm. That will be my next buy. Looks very similar to G26 in size and that gun disappears on me.

Here's the P230 my wife bought me for Christmas last year. Was a former officer BuG. I added the grip and touched up the bluing. Pretty smooth shooting! KD code, vintage 1993!
