My first Sig was a SP2022 in 9mm. I had my eye on the P226 at my local gun shop, but couldnt swing the $799 for it. The SP2022 was $399 and I purchased it. My preferred 9mm has been my Beretta 92fs Inox, but the Sig has some advantages. This is the first pistol I have owned with night sights and they are awesome. The rail on the Sigs frame allowed me to take my tactical flashlight off my AK and stick it on my pistol. Also first railed pisto and its awesome.
The SP2022 is a great shooter and I would recomend it to anyone. Honestly I lost interest in the P226 after taking the sp2022 home. I loved the gun, but just traded it and an SKS for a Springfield 1911 A1 in the rare 9mm parkerized and all American made
