Side Saddle on Mossberg

I was thinking about using a shell holder on the butt and a side saddle so, if ever, I could pick shot or slug. I remember reading something about side saddle pins harming that aluminum receiver on Mossbergs. Anyone had any experience with this?

As long as your suing quality stuff (mesa or Tacstar ) and its properly installed it wont hurt your receiver at all. I always recommend a little loctite to boot.
