That's true if you know something is boobytrapped in the first place (or think it is) but there's more than one way to kill an enemy and some of them are very old indeed.

I would vacate before they arrived and see how they respond to a little gorilla warefare beginning with taking the guy with the AT-4 out. element of surprise- element of surprise! My plan is to vacate as the bad guys may have me outnumbered, outgunned, and out manuevered if I wait. Ever see what a FMJ rifle round will do to a frame home? You and your family, and some good friends have been at your BOL for about a month or so after the shtf. You are at a rural location and set back from the road.

The bag guys have 50's or some other stolen military stuff. Just for giggles I say even an AT-4. They want your place, your women, and your stuff.......
