Yes it is. It is one sweet gun. I don't think I'll ever shoot better than the gun can. At 67 you just can't shoot like you could 50 years ago. I always thought that a long slide would be just to big but it carries as easy as my light weight Commander. The grip frame section is lite enough that it is easy to carry. I had been looking at it for 3 or 4 months before I decided to just get it. The only thing I don't like is it has a Bo-Mar type rear sight no night dots. Would have liked a Novak adjustable. Going to change the sights to having night dots. I like the straight 8 type dots.
