You can never go wrong having both. If you only want one, I would go with the 47.

5.45 ammo is cheaper to shoot but harder to find. The magazines are also harder to find for 5.45 and more expensive.

Since I only have 11 mags & 980 rounds of 5.45x39, I've been thinking of trading it for an AR-15 or a AK-47 cause I have plenty of mags & ammo for those two

I'm in the same boat. I've really been thinking about selling my Tantal for another AK is 7.62. I like the 5.45 round but would like to stick with 1 caliber. Decisions...

I go with the 47 mainly cause it is easier to find ammo for it. I looked at getting a 74 only place to find ammo was online.

I would personally stay with the 47. Although it is cheaper to buy 5.45 when you can find it, the 7.62 ammo is more readily available. And if anything happens I would love to know that I would still be able to find ammo for my rifle. I am a big advocate of bullet availability. So that way you know you will always be able to feed it. But if you can keep both it is always nice to have 2 so you have different options.

Go with the 47. I sold mine months ago and reget it because that round is fun to shot and easy to find.

definetely the ak-47, no need to go the other route. plus just saying you have an ak-47 is great

Is there a more recognizable name of a gun than the ak-47? other than maybe a ".44 magnum" as people like to say

i would say go for something in 5.56, the availability of ammo is a huge plus

like an lwrc, i would really like to get one of those all decked out
