The stock is great. The forend? Not so much. I feel like it has more wobble than the original. Could be due to the extra weight, but either way, it kinda sucks.

Haven't even taken it out of the box yet.. labor day purchase! Remington 870 Express (Deer) - 20" rifled with open sights. So far so good... lots to come with this specific gun as it's going to be my multi purpose. Buying a 28" smooth an an 18" for HD as well. Will put different furniture on it after hunting season.

    My shotty

    Here is my shotty.

    Remington police 870

early 70s I believe, rode around in North dakota troopers car. Original wood, Dad put on the side saddle and tube extension when he had it.

    Great shooting shotgun.

That is nice. I got one similar. It was retired from the Howard Co Sheriff's Dept. I have no idea which state. I need to get all my Remingtons photographed and post them up. Mine isn't as nice looking as yours, and it's from 1981.

    Between corn and soybean fields.
It's nothing all that special or unique, but it's mine. It's actually my first shotgun... so I do look forward to getting to know it over time.

LGS had a deal on a box of #8 birdshot... so I bought 250 rounds for like $55 or something, I forget. Should be fun for tinkering around even if not the most ideal for home defense.
