I have a problem, with weather, and whether..... THANK YOU !!!!!
I am no grammar expert, but some words and/or phrases bend my ear the wrong way.
Just for your information.
"prolly" is not a word. Never has been, and probably never will be.
Thank you for your attention.
And apostrophes are used to show possession, and in contractions. Apostrophes are NEVER used in plurals. I totally agree with the dollar sign thing. I hate seeing that used after numbers. Not sure where that came from.
Your means belonging to you.
You're is a contraction of "you are."
There is a place.
Their is something belonging to them.
They're is a contraction of "they are."
It's is a contraction of "it is."
Its means belonging to it.
To expresses direction.
Too means "also."
Two is a number that comes after one, and before three.
Lose means to cease to have.
Loose means not tight.
Weather is what it's like outside.
Whether is an expression of inquiry.
Where refers to a place.
Wear is what you do with a shirt.
I hope I made that simple enough.
You forgot "to" and "too". "Where" and "were" are up there as well. The absolute worst for me though is when someone says (or types, I guess) "I have nothing to do...I'm so board."
Really??? You've got to be kidding.
I got that one. I did forget "board." That one makes me cringe.
