I'll beat @KellyinAvon to it and paraphrase Moms Mabley.
"They say you shouldn't say nothin' about the dead unless it's good. She's dead. Good."
I believe Rush once referred to her as a "glittering jewel of colossal ignorance." She did want the Mars rover to go take a picture of the flag left by the astronauts. And she was on the House Science Committee.

I can't imagine the voters from that district sending an upgrade to DC.

Was a Municipal Judge in Houston 87-90, then on Houston City Council until she got to the US House in 94. Got her JD in 1975... must not have done much for 13 years before becoming a judge.

Municipal Judge... probably had some Center Township Denise Hatch-type Constable.

Came to the House when Newt and the Republicans had the Contract with America. Tells you a lot about the Texas 18th.

Per Wiki: went through 11 Chiefs of Staff in 11 years. Continental Airlines recommended she fly on a competitor.

This doesnt surprise me in the least.
She always seemed to me to have personality of a can of nightcrawlers, and the disposition of a crocodile.
