I think this is the 3rd or 4th time we have hosted these classes. We probably will again next year.
I just registered for both classes on Tactical Response's web site, but when I tried to pay them with PayPal, I got a message saying "merchant cannot accept payments at this time." Do you know what might be going on there?

    Thanks for your help!

I had read earlier in the year that this training was coming to Seymour, but I procrastinated and didn't sign up. I'm guessing its too late to sign up for the force on force at this point. Oh well, maybe next year.

In the recent past the Seymour PD has offered several basic pistol classes for FREE to the community but we can never get anyone to sign up and actually take it.

I work and live near Seymour, and the wife and I have just received our CC permits. Are these classes still offered, and if so, do you have a schedule of when they occur? We would be interested in attending. Thanks in advance.

    Who:

Class taught by James, Brian, and Mike. The class consisted of a diverse group of guys with varying firearms experience. Active Military, Police SWAT, Insurance Agents, Lawyers, Doctors etc. Some have handled guns most their lives others only once before. It does not matter what walk of life you come from you will walk away from this class with some very realistic and relevant skills

    What:

The class Fighting Pistol by Tactical Response. My gear was my current EDC. Glock 19, Bladetech UCH, IWB, and a Kahr P9 in a pocket holster. Range ammo was cheap **** from Wolf. No problems with the gear.

This was my first formal firearms class. I have been training regularly for about 2 years with the help of Wetsu and Britton. I expected a lot from the class and it delivered. My goal was to shut up, forget everything I have learned before, listen, and learn. Leave your ego at home and do what you are told. This works, really. I knew I would learn new skills, what I did not expect was what a huge value the lectures were. With out the proper mindset your skills mean nothing. It truly is a life changing class.

I sucked at shooting from cover, drawing and shooting accurately with my backup, gun and offhand shooting. I will fix that.

    Where:

Class was in Seymour IN at the FOP, sponsored by the Seymour PD. Great facility thanks for the hospitality.

    When:

October 19-20. I have been looking at this class since the spring. It being in the fall and in Indiana was a plus.

    Why?

I train because I am a father, good citizen, and a team mate. I want to be prepared for that one possible time in my life that we all dread. I chose to get this training from Tactical Response because I have seen the skills and mindset in the students this school produces.

What are they doing on the ground? That seems so unsafe and I've never seen that at a USPSA or IDPA match before.

I like your sense of humor, and Aristotle, too. I'd like to take your course.
