Self Defense Ammo Choices For Compact 9mm?

Good luck finding 124gr +p 9mm Gold Dots anywhere around here. Only place I've seen them for sale is online so far. Same goes with the Hornady Critical Defense/Duty rounds. I may just be getting unlucky, but nobody has these in stock whenever I check.

ITP in Indy had critical defense and duty in stock last time I looked.

I have been using Federal HST 124 gr in my SIG P938, and Hornady Critical Duty 136 gr in my VP9. I will probably make the switch 100% over to the Federal at some point.

I ordered some Berry's plated 124gr HP's just to have something on hand to load, if I get there. No dies yet . Seems like a pretty crazy low price of $22.49 for 250? I had my eye on Nosler 115gr JHP's, but they were twice the price.
