    Thanks for the 4-1-1.
Guess it was a good idea of getting the 4 new brooms for them.
Metal dustpans are on sale this week @ menards but since they don't need any Jedi will skip on them.
1/2 OSB ouch that is the more $$$ stuff.

Yesterday, after a week, the backers were still in good shape.
Usually by Sunday you have to wish the targets to stay attached. Specially with the 1/4 inch stuff.
They probably won't have to change many out today. Just flip them over.
Try 7/16 osb. They should be a little cheaper.

I can donate a few $ to the kitty.

We typically bring them 7/16 OSB since it is cheaper.
What we do need to find is a cheaper source or a source that is going to throw them away.

Has anyone checked with Von Tobels Lumber? I bet they would donate some beat up plywood as long as we are willing to paint donated by Von Tobels Lumber on them.

I'm planning on being there.... but I could be a no show as I'm doing the Indy 1500 the day before.

Gun's and ammo will be much less but should have a AR 5.56 beretta 92FS and a couple 357 mags with... Always short on ammo so bring it if you want to shoot them...

    Hopefully see you guys there...

Remember, I have a bunch of small bags of chips that need to get eaten.

I will most likely be there. I'll bring my usual guns. Will have some ammo

From the boss of DNR WINAMAC!
Hi, sorry it took so long to respond - been on vacation. We could try the foam boards and see how they work. Who knows, they might be better than plywood.
We have a couple of red 7 inch brooms in our range office that haven't been used yet but will probably be used soon. A couple of 18 inch push brooms would be great. Thanks for your help.

So anyone want to pick up those foam boards? They are real light just bit 4x'8'?
I think the sale for them ends this sat but not sure. This sunday's menards flyer does not have them but typically the sales run for 2 weeks so this is probably the 2nd week of the sale for them. Figure 6 boards should help them try them out.

They seemed to work pretty well for rifles and handguns. I imagine a shotgun would wreck them pretty quickly though.

When I was at Kingsbury Saturday, they were using 1/4 fan fold insulation (foam) for target backer. Targets stayed up ok. My staple gun had 9/16 in it and worked better than range staplers did.

 guess with pricing going up new things are indeed the way to go.

So any takes on bringing the foam?

I will be there. I will bring Glock 17,21, 23, and 26; Walther PPQ M2 and P22; CZ RAMI 2075p; and Ruger Blackhawk .44 mag. I will bring limited ammo. Most of these guns are 9mm. The Glock 23 is .40. The Glock 21 is .45 acp. The P22 is .22lr. If I shoot, the P22 is the only one I can at this time. I will have extra ammo for it. I am not picky about the brand of ammo, if you want to try out these guns with your ammo.

I will be driving AshLee. So, I can pick up the plywood and foam board. Jedi give me the Menard's number for the foam board you were looking at. the fan fold that I am talking about is best used in 2x2' squares.

Looks like the foam board is no longer on sale. :xmad:
    3/4" x 4' x 8' R4 FOAMULAR 250 Rigid Foam Insulation
    Tongue & Groove
    3/4" x 4' x 8'
    Sku: 1631250
    Model: 270932
    $10.44

It was for $6.77 last week. :xmad:

Looks like the std. 7/16" OSB is going to have to do unless.
    7/16" x 4' x 8' OSB
    7/16" x 4' x 8'
    Sku: 1242728
    $9.37

Can you bring us 10 of these sheets? By my calculations that would be $100.26 with tax.
Do you have that much or want me to send you funds via Chase or PayPal?
We have enough in the pot tot cover it.

If by chance the foam goes on sale before then I would like to try and get them some but not if it's MORE than the OSB.
